Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Kolkata. The Salesperson will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable HDFC group products, including home loans and insurance solutions.

Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, explaining product features and advantages, and guiding customers through application and documentation processes. The role involves regular follow-up with clients, coordination with internal teams for approvals and servicing, and maintaining accurate records in sales systems. The Salesperson is also expected to meet assigned sales targets,



adhere to compliance and quality standards, and represent the company professionally in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and meet or exceed targets.
- Customer relationship management capabilities, including active listening, needs assessment, and providing tailored financial solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken and written English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of retail banking, home loans, and insurance products, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining documentation, handling multiple client interactions, and using CRM or sales tools.
- Ability to work in an on-site, field-oriented environment in Kolkata, with flexibility to travel locally for client meetings.
- Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent; candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
