SALESFORCE DEVELOPEMENT MANAGER

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Manager to lead the Salesforce platform, manage ongoing enhancements, and work closely with business and technology teams to deliver effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage the Salesforce platform, ensuring stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement.
- Lead Salesforce implementation, enhancement, and integration projects from requirements through delivery.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and central technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Manage Salesforce configuration, workflows, automation, reports, dashboards, and user access.
- Lead integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications and platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and technical specifications.
- Manage and prioritize the Salesforce enhancement backlog based on business priorities.
- Coordinate with development, QA, architecture, security, and other central teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor platform performance, data quality, security, and compliance.
- Establish and maintain Salesforce best practices, governance, documentation, and release management.
- Manage production issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure timely resolution.
- Support Salesforce users through training, guidance, and effective change management.
- Manage external Salesforce vendors and partners where required.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce automation, AI, and new platform capabilities to improve business processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12 years of Salesforce experience, with experience in a lead or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, automation, security, reports, and dashboards.
- Experience managing Salesforce integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, APIs, and integration concepts.




- Experience managing Salesforce projects and working with Agile teams.
- Solid stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and central technology teams.
- Good understanding of Salesforce governance, release management, and platform best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Platform Developer
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Application Architect or related certifications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15 years of experience working on the Salesforce platform, with 4 years in a people management or team lead role
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
- Experience managing Agile/Scrum development processes (sprints, backlogs, retrospectives)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices for Salesforce (Copado, Gearset, AutoRabit, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
