Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves identifying customer needs, proposing suitable low voltage switchgear solutions, and preparing technical and commercial offers.

Responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, supporting the sales team with technical expertise, and coordinating with internal teams and Schneider Electric for product information and order processing.

The Sales

Engineer will follow up on leads, maintain relationships with existing customers, provide pre- and post-sales technical support, and ensure timely resolution of customer queries.



The role also includes regular market visits, documentation of sales activities, and contribution to achieving regional sales targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand electrical products and applications.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, explain solutions clearly, and build lasting relationships.
- Candidates should possess core Sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity management, and negotiation.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in electrical distribution or switchgear.
- Basic understanding of low voltage switchgear systems and familiarity with Schneider Electric products is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office, travel within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and coordinate with regional and national teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic CRM usage for tracking opportunities and customer interactions.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and professional conduct.
