Role Overview The Sales Associate will be the first point of contact for customers walking into Spread Spain’s Gurgaon store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role is responsible for delivering a premium, considered in-store experience — one that reflects the quality and character of the brand in every interaction. This is not a transactional retail role.
It requires someone who can read a customer, guide them through the product range with genuine knowledge, and build the kind of trust that brings people back.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Welcome and engage customers in a manner that is warm, confident, and unhurried.
- Understand customer needs through active listening and guide them to the right products — without being pushy or scripted.
- Maintain a consistently elevated in-store experience from the moment a customer enters to the moment they leave.
- Handle objections and queries with composure, clarity, and product knowledge.
Sales & Product Knowledge
- Develop a thorough understanding of SpreadHome’s product range, materials, and collections.
- Communicate product value clearly and honestly — focusing on quality and relevance to the customer’s needs.
- Meet individual and store sales targets consistently.
- Suggest complementary products naturally and appropriately during the customer journey.
