Role & responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across plant O&M; activities.
- Conduct HIRA, JSA/JHA, safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) and LOTO/energy isolation systems.
- Ensure protected execution of boiler, turbine, electrical, mechanical, and utility maintenance activities.
- Monitor safety during work at height, confined space, hot work, lifting & rigging, scaffolding, excavation, and electrical work.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction, training programs, and emergency/mock drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and ensure CAPA implementation.
- Monitor PPE compliance, unsafe acts/conditions, and contractor safety performance.
- Maintain safety records, reports, MIS, and ensure applicable statutory and ISO 45001 requirements are followed.
- Coordinate with O&M;, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, and Operations teams to improve site safety performance.
