Key Responsibilities

- Implementation
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement safety standards.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records.
- Risk Assessment &
- Hazard Control
- Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) for all processes and activities.
- Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and identify potential hazards.
- Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
- Review and update HIRA periodically or after any process change.
- Shop Floor Monitoring
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees and contractors.
- Monitor high-risk areas.
- Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.




- Maintain incident reports and track closure.
- Training &
- Awareness
- Conduct safety induction and regular training programs.
- Educate employees on HIRA, protected work practices, and hazard control.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Conduct mock drills and ensure readiness.
- Maintain firefighting and safety equipment.
- Coordination &
- Reporting
- Coordinate with departments for safety improvements.
- Liaise with statutory authorities.
- Prepare safety MIS reports and compliance updates.
