Runner – AI & Smart Automation Squad (RPA Production Monitoring)
The Runner is responsible for continuously monitoring RPA production, analyzing incidents, identifying root causes and coordinating remedial actions. When a robot’s code needs modification, the Runner escalates the issue to the development team with a explicit recommendation. Although the role requires a solid development background, daily work focuses on support and problem‑solving rather than hand‑coding.
Job Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies of the squad (Kanban ticket management, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, etc.).
- Promptly communicate any blocking issues to the Business users and the squad.
- Analyze production incidents, determine root causes and propose corrective actions.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Deliver the set of Jira tickets assigned each sprint.
- Provide daily RPA support and monitoring.
- Ensure platform stability – work with the Tech Lead and guild members to keep RPA bots up‑and‑running.
Required Education, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in RPA development and production support (Blue Prism expertise is essential).
- Strong problem‑solving ability; able to diagnose complex issues quickly.
- Experience with ticketing and project‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Good command of English (written and spoken) for effective business communication.
- Familiarity with both Unix and Windows environments.
Preferred Education, Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of version‑control/deployment tools (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to multi‑technology squads and ability to work across different toolsets.
- Experience in providing technical optimization recommendations and enhancements.
