: RF Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer: Advanced RF Systems to lead our advanced Radio Frequency (RF) projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in the design, development, and deployment of advanced RF systems. This role involves strategic leadership, technical innovation, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

- Direct and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in the development of RF antenna systems and associated technologies.
- Oversee all phases of project development, from requirements definition and design to testing, validation, and deployment.

Technical Expertise:

- Lead the design and development of advanced RF and signal systems, focusing on RF engineering, antenna design, and system architecture.
- Utilize industry-standard simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and CST Studio Suite for RF circuit design, electromagnetic analysis, and antenna performance optimization.
- Implement advanced signal processing techniques, including spectral analysis, adaptive beamforming, clutter suppression, and Doppler processing for high-precision applications.
- Drive the integration of power amplifiers, and phased-array systems for optimized performance and reliability.
- Develop and refine calibration techniques, including phased-array calibration and beam-steering methodologies, to achieve superior system accuracy and stability.




- Design and optimize RF front-end architectures, including high-frequency transceivers, mixers, filters, and power management systems.
- Oversee the implementation of modulation/demodulation schemes and digital signal processing algorithms for robust communication and measurement capabilities.
- Perform end-to-end hardware-software integration, ensuring seamless interoperability of RF systems, embedded platforms, and control interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with international and industry standards, including MIL-STD and FCC regulations, focusing on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), environmental performance, and system reliability.
- Lead system-level optimization, including thermal management, signal integrity, and power efficiency, to meet stringent operational requirements.

Project Management:

- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and systems engineering.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:





- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Radar Systems Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on radar technologies.

Experience:

- Experience in radar system development, including hands-on design, simulation, and testing.
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects within tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience with radar system simulation tools such as AWR Design Setting, CST Microwave Studio, and MATLAB for signal processing and algorithm development.

Technical Skills:

- Deep understanding of RF front-end design, including power amplifiers and phase shifters.
- Expertise in RF and phased-array antenna design, digital beamforming, and radar waveform development.
- Proficiency in system integration, including RF chain calibration, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.

Leadership & Communication:

- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering teamwork and driving innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong track record of delivering results on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in defense or aerospace industries.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for radar systems.
- Experience with international collaborations and managing global projects.
