Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Retail Training Manager to lead the learning and development agenda across 20 apparel retail stores.

The role will be responsible for building and executing training programs that improve customer experience, product knowledge, selling skills, store operations, visual merchandising awareness, and team productivity. The ideal candidate should understand fashion retail and be comfortable working closely with Store Managers, Area Managers, and frontline sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Strategy & Planning

- Develop and execute the annual and monthly retail training calendar for 20 stores.
- Identify training needs based on store performance, customer feedback, audits, sales data, and business priorities.
- Create structured onboarding and induction programs for current employees.

1. Product & Brand Training

- Conduct regular training on:

- Product knowledge
- Fabric, fits, washes and features

- New collections and launches

- Brand heritage and positioning
- Styling and cross-selling

- Product storytelling
- Ensure store teams can confidently communicate product benefits to customers.

1. Customer Experience & Selling Skills

- Build capability in:

- Customer engagement

- Need identification

- Suggestive selling
- Cross-selling and upselling

- Objection handling

- Conversion improvement

- Customer complaint handling
- Clienteling and repeat-customer engagement

1. Training Delivery

- Conduct classroom, virtual, workshop,



and on-the-floor training across 20 stores.
- Develop engaging training materials, presentations, activities, role plays, quizzes, and assessments.
- Act as a training facilitator during major collection launches, campaigns, and business initiatives.
- Travel regularly to stores to observe teams and provide coaching.

Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in Retail Training / Learning & Development, preferably in apparel, fashion, lifestyle, footwear, or premium retail.
- Experience managing training across multiple stores / regions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of frontline retail sales and store operations.

Education:

- Graduate degree in HR, Retail Management, Business Administration, Fashion, or a related discipline.
