Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead the overall operations of a café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading and developing the team, maintaining excellent customer service, controlling costs, and driving sales and profitability.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who has solid experience in the café, restaurant, coffee shop, or F&B; industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCafé Operations

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the café.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and implement SOPs to maintain consistent service and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming and customer-friendly café environment.
- Monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate and manage the café team, including Shift Managers and Assistant Managers.
- Train and develop employees to deliver excellent service.
- Build a positive, accountable and team-oriented work culture.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee retention.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adequate manpower during all shifts.

Customer Experience
- Ensure high standards of customer service and product quality.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints and service issues professionally.
- Monitor service standards and implement improvements.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize wastage.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and implement cost-control measures.




- Support menu and product improvement based on customer preferences and market trends.

Sales & Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales, revenue and operational expenses.
- Oversee POS operations and daily cash reconciliation.
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Monitor P&L;, budgets and key business performance metrics.
- Prepare regular operational and sales reports for management.

Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure operational and hygiene standards are followed.
- Train staff on food safety and health & safety procedures.

Business Growth
- Work with senior management to implement strategies for business growth.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer retention.
- Support marketing and local community initiatives.
- Introduce current ideas to improve the café experience and operational performance.

Key Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Café Manager, General Manager or similar leadership role in the F&B; industry.
- Experience in café, coffee shop, restaurant or QSR operations preferred.
- Robust team management and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of P&L;, budgeting, sales analysis and cost control.
- Experience in inventory management and supplier coordination.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to manage multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on and proactive approach to café management.

Preferred Skills
- Experience managing Shift Managers / Assistant Managers.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales and operational performance.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
