We are looking for a Research Intern who is curious, proactive, and comfortable with both on-field and online research. The role involves collecting real-world data, conducting market research, interacting with people, mapping businesses/vendors, and converting information into practical business insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct on-field research and data collection across Mumbai.
2. Research and compile information on businesses, vendors, venues, mandaps, competitors, and market opportunities.
3. Visit locations, interact with relevant people, and collect accurate information.
4. Organise and maintain research data using Excel/Google Sheets.
5. Analyse collected information and identify useful trends, opportunities, and insights.
6. Prepare simple research reports, presentations, and trackers.
7. Support the team with ad-hoc research projects and take ownership of assigned tasks.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Curious and strong research mindset
- Comfortable with fieldwork and travelling within Mumbai
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Proactive with strong ownership
- Comfortable speaking to new people and gathering information
- Ability to work independently
