We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Research & Publication Coordinator – Health Sciences to support academic research writing, scientific manuscript preparation, publication coordination, and journal submission activities. The candidate will work with researchers, faculty members, healthcare professionals, postgraduate students, and academic teams in preparing high-quality research documents for publication in national and international peer-reviewed journals. The role requires a good understanding of health sciences research, scientific writing, research methodology, statistical interpretation, referencing styles, journal guidelines, and the manuscript submission process .

Key Responsibilities: Prepare, edit, review, and format scientific manuscripts in the field of Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Medicine, Allied Health Sciences, and related disciplines .

Assist researchers in preparing: Original research articles Review articles Systematic and narrative reviews Case reports Research proposals and protocols Thesis- and dissertation-based manuscripts Abstracts, conference papers, and book chapters Write and improve manuscript sections including: Title and Abstract Introduction Review of Literature Research Methodology Results Discussion Conclusion Recommendations and Limitations Interpret research findings and basic statistical results for scientific reporting. Perform scientific editing, proofreading, language improvement, and manuscript restructuring. Format manuscripts according to specific journal author guidelines .

Manage references using styles such as Vancouver, APA, Harvard, and other journal-specific formats . Conduct literature searches using databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, and other academic databases . Identify suitable journals based on manuscript subject, scope, indexing requirements, and publication objectives.

Check journal scope, author guidelines, manuscript requirements, publication policies, and submission checklists. Coordinate manuscript submission through journal systems such as: Editorial Manager ScholarOne Manuscripts Springer submission systems Elsevier systems Taylor & Francis systems Wiley systems Other publisher platforms Prepare submission documents including:



Cover letters Title pages Author contribution statements Conflict of interest declarations Funding statements Ethical approval statements Consent statements Data availability statements Highlights and graphical abstract requirements Coordinate with authors regarding missing documents, corrections, approvals, and submission requirements. Track manuscript status from initial submission to editorial review, peer review, revision, acceptance, and publication .

Assist authors in preparing point-by-point responses to reviewer comments and revised manuscripts. Maintain systematic records of manuscripts, journals, submission dates, revision deadlines, decisions, and publication status. Ensure manuscripts follow ethical publication practices, including appropriate citation, authorship, originality, and research reporting standards.

Follow relevant reporting guidelines such as CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, and other applicable guidelines . Coordinate communication related to manuscripts with authors, editors, journals, and publication teams. Maintain confidentiality of research data, unpublished manuscripts, and author information.

Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any Health Sciences or computer Application , such as: Nursing – B.Sc.

Nursing Public

Health – MPH Pharmacy – B.Pharm Life Sciences Biotechnology Clinical Research Medical Sciences Allied Health Sciences Physiotherapy Nutrition Psychology Epidemiology Biomedical Sciences Other relevant healthcare or research disciplines Preferred Qualification: Ph.D. or candidate pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related area.

Formal training or certification in: Research Methodology Scientific/Medical Writing Clinical Research Biostatistics Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Publication Ethics Experience Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:



Scientific or academic research writing Medical writing Health sciences research Manuscript preparation Thesis/dissertation writing support Journal submission Publication coordination Academic editing Research project coordination Fresh postgraduate candidates with excellent scientific writing and research skills may also be considered.

Required Skills: The candidate should possess: Excellent scientific and academic writing skills in English. Strong understanding of health sciences research methodology. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research.

Basic understanding of biostatistics and interpretation of statistical results. Knowledge of research designs such as experimental, quasi-experimental, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, cohort, case-control, and randomized controlled studies. Good literature-searching abilities.

Knowledge of PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. Strong understanding of referencing and citation styles. Familiarity with reference-management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote .

Knowledge of journal indexing systems including Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed/MEDLINE, DOAJ, and UGC-CARE , where applicable. Understanding of research and publication ethics. Knowledge of plagiarism, citation practices, authorship criteria, and ethical use of AI-assisted research tools.

Excellent proofreading and editing skills. Solid MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Ability to manage multiple manuscripts and publication deadlines simultaneously. Good communication and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and ability to follow journal-specific instructions accurately.
