MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

- Must have 5+ years of direct experience handling overseas reinsurance business.
- Must have an established network of overseas cedants, insurers, reinsurers and/or brokers, preferably in the Middle East or Africa.
- Must have a demonstrated track record of sourcing business and generating revenue from international markets—not purely placement/operations experience.
- Must be able to independently handle Treaty and/or Facultative placements end-to-end, including market approach, structuring, negotiation and closing.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Source and develop Foreign-to-Foreign reinsurance business across global markets
- Build and manage relationships with overseas cedants, insurers, reinsurers, and brokers
- Independently handle treaty and/or facultative reinsurance placements

Lead end-to-end placement including:





- o Market approach
- o Negotiation with reinsurers
- o Coverage structuring
- o Closing and post-placement coordination
- Generate sustainable revenue and portfolio growth from international markets
- Representthe organization atinternational conferences, market meetings, and industry events
- Continuously monitor global reinsurance trends, capacity, and pricing
- Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth execution

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; preferably Insurance, Finance, Business, Economics or related fields. Qualified qualifications such as AIII/III or equivalent insurance/reinsurance certifications would be an advantage.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience specifically in Foreign Inward / Foreign-to-Foreign Reinsurance.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Middle East or Africa markets.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in Treaty and/or Facultative Reinsurance and a proven track record of international business generation and placement.
