Role Overview

We are seeking an aggressive, self-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to build and scale our General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) distribution network from the ground up. This role focuses on commercializing TaazaMeat’s high-growth ambient and packaged nutrition portfolio, including Chicken Protein Bars, Chicken Pickles, Dry Fish, Podulu (Spice Powders), and Pet Food.

The ideal candidate must hit the ground running from Month 1, arriving with an established network of trade partners and an executable go-to-market plan.

Key Responsibilities

- Network Setup & Distributor Onboarding: Appoint, manage, and expand a strong distributor and stockist footprint across targeted territories. Onboard at least 10 ready distributors immediately upon joining, the vision is to in 100 town by the end of fy 25-27 .
- Target Achievement from Month 1: Drive primary and secondary sales targets from the first month across both general trade, standalone modern trade, gourmet retail, and specialty pet stores.
- Route-to-Market Execution: Map high-potential beats, establish distributor ROI models, monitor credit terms, and ensure optimal product placement and stock rotation.
- Team Leadership & Market Coverage: Build, mentor, and track a field sales team (ASMs/SO/Merchandisers), ensuring high beat adherence and daily productive calls.
- Channel Diversification: Tailor channel distribution strategies across distinct categories:
- Health & fitness outlets/gyms/modern retail for Chicken Protein Bars.
- Grocery, supermarts,



and provision stores for Chicken Pickles & Podulu.
- Wet market adjacencies and traditional GT for Dry Fish.
- Pet stores, vet clinics, and pet retail chains for Pet Food.
- Trade Schemes & Visibility: Implement trade promotions, retailer margins, window displays, and BTL visibility drives to generate consumer off-take.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility Criteria

- Age: Strictly below 35 - 40 years only.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven hands-on experience in FMCG sales and distribution management (General Trade & Modern Trade). Experience in packaged food, ready-to-eat/cook, dairy, or processed meat products is strongly preferred.
- Readiness Requirement: Must present a launch-ready 90-day distribution roadmap and bring direct access to at least 10 active distributors ready to partner on day one.
- Competencies: High commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, deep distributor relationship capital, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
