Role: Recruitment Manager

Location: Palavakkam, Chennai | 9 to 12 Yrs Experience

Role Summary

Lead blue-collar, elevator technician, and volume hiring operations. Manage a team of 10 recruiters to deliver 200+ technician hires while continuously backfilling a 10% attrition rate through strong sourcing strategy, data discipline, and hands-on team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Hiring Delivery

- Own end-to-end recruitment for technical, blue-collar, and elevator technician roles sourcing through onboarding
- Hit a 200+ technician hiring target, adjusting continuously for attrition
- Build multi-channel sourcing pipelines: portals, referrals, vendors, ITI/technical institutes, hiring drives, walk-ins.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and perform well with a team of 10 recruiters
- Set individual/team targets; track daily and weekly productivity
- Drive accountability and urgency across the team; course-correct where numbers slip.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with business/ops teams to capture manpower requirements early and accurately
- Ensure on-time closures (TAT) for every open role




- Be the go-to point of contact for hiring escalations.

Data & Reporting

- Maintain clean, current recruitment data — requisitions, pipeline status, source-wise conversion
- Track KPIs: fill rate, TAT, cost per hire, quality of hire
- Use data to spot funnel bottlenecks and adjust sourcing before targets slip.

Candidate Experience

- Maintain professionalism and explicit communication throughout the hiring journey.
- Stay composed and solution-focused under high-volume, high-pressure conditions.

Key Skills & Requirements

- 9–12 years in recruitment, with strong volume/bulk and blue-collar hiring experience
- Proven experience leading a recruitment team (8–10+ members)
- Strong command of recruitment data, dashboards, and KPI reviews
- Track record of hitting hiring targets within TAT, even under pressure
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Target-driven, organized, and hands-on experience.
