Job Title: React Native Developer – AI Model API Integration

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer for a remote contract engagement to build a cross-platform iOS and Android mobile application. You will take ownership of connecting mobile interfaces to backend AI model APIs, optimizing real-time response streaming, and delivering a clean user interface.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain clean, performant React Native code targetting both iOS and Android.

AI API Integration: Integrate REST and WebSocket APIs to deliver real-time AI model responses (LLM streaming, audio/image outputs).

Performance & State: Architect application state,



handle edge-case error states for API rate limits, and implement local caching.

Deployment Setup: Configure TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing for ongoing build distributions.

Contractor Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience in React Native and TypeScript.

Proven track record of handling asynchronous streaming data, WebSockets, and third-party API integrations.

Proficient with state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux Toolkit, React Query).

Hands-on experience with native tooling (Xcode, Android Studio) and CI/CD tools (Expo / Fastlane).
