RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Utilize formulation development skills and technical expertise to develop new products, technologies, and benefits to address relevant consumer needs in support of brand initiatives.

- Read, understand, and apply relevant SOP / ISO protocols with regards to data generation for submission to Global/Local Regulatory/Legal teams and external agencies.

- Proper operation, standardization & maintenance of lab equipment.

- Recording and maintaining laboratory notebooks following GDP

- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques for working at the bench, understanding of chemistry, surfactant, or related science.

- Ability to interpret results from lab tests, conduct performance and analysis evaluations of competitive products.

- Maintain inventory and order items when needed.

- Interface with key partners and stakeholders (supply, regulatory, quality and marketing) to achieve defined goals and objectives.

- Be aware, accountable for environment, health and safety in workplace all time to ensure accident free & good working environment. Maintain good housekeeping in lab and storage areas all the time.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

- A minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or masters in sciences (Chemistry or Pharmaceutical)





- Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in team including cross functional interactions with project teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Quality, Manufacturing etc.

- Strong formulation expertise and understanding of raw material chemical interactions.

- Good oral communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor.

- Positive written communication skills for accurate data entry and concise lab reports

- Organizational and Problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement.

- Result-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives.

- Timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines.

- Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change.

- Desire to learn, apply, and enhance skill set while seeking recent opportunities.

- Perform other assignments as delegated by immediate supervisor.

- With assistance of supervisor, demonstrate ability to anticipate, plan and realize significant projects involving multiple technical and scientific hurdles.

- Knowledge of common software including MS Office applications
