R&D; Engr/Scientist II An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a R&D; Engr/Scientist II – Hydroprocessing and Renewable Fuels at Honeywell India Technology Center in Gurugram. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to champion the development of novel technology solutions for sustainable renewable fuels and hydroprocessing portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
- Follow HS&E; policies and guidelines and ensure that pilot plant and laboratory operations are conducted in accordance with HS&E; procedures.
- Work on new product development (NPD) programs in the areas of Hydroprocessing and Renewable fuels and deliver the assigned projects as per agreed PAC timelines.
- Lead pilot plant experimentation and drive model-based design of experiments (MBDOE) approach to bring effectiveness and agility.
- Interface with other functions in R&D; like research, manufacturing, process design and development, material characterization etc. to deliver assigned development programs.
- Provide technical support to regional customers as and when required. Lead customer demo programs and provide recommendations for catalyst performance issues and catalyst reload projects.
- There will be opportunities for cross-training,
as well as the opportunity to contribute solutions to technical problems outside the immediate area of expertise and deliver technical presentations to the global R&D; community.
- Come up with new ideas and invention disclosures for process improvement and generate intellectual property for technology development.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a reputed institute.
- 2-5 years of work experience for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. 0-2 years’ experience for PhD
- Robust interest in R&D; work.
- Strong technical skills for leading experimentation and data analysis skills.
- A self-starter and ability to drive innovation.

- Experience in chemical reaction model development, chemical reaction engineering and process design.
- Experience in developing and executing experimental plans including the use of statistical tools for data analysis.
