Job Title: Rate Estimation Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

We are looking for a Rate Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate costing and competitive quotations for flanges, forged fittings, butt-weld fittings, olets and custom forgings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review customer enquiries, RFQs, BOQs, technical specifications and drawings.
- Identify material grades, sizes, pressure classes, schedules and applicable standards.
- Calculate material weight, raw material requirements, wastage and manufacturing costs.
- Estimate forging, machining, heat treatment, fabrication, testing, inspection, packing and freight expenses.
- Obtain supplier quotations and compare prices for purchased materials and outsourced processes.
- Prepare item-wise costing sheets and techno-commercial offers within enquiry deadlines.
- Coordinate with production, purchase and quality teams to confirm manufacturing feasibility and delivery periods.
- Support tender pricing,



clarification replies and quotation revisions.
- Maintain updated material rates, supplier quotations and historical costing records.

Candidate Requirements:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in costing and estimation of piping products, forgings or fabricated components.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand material specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant ASME/ASTM standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, weight calculations and detailed costing.
- Strong attention to accuracy and quotation deadlines.

Preferred: Experience with refinery, petrochemical, EPC or oil and gas enquiries. NOTE - SALARY WILL BE GIVEN AS PER EXPERIENCE

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
