Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bengaluru.
The Quantity
Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing bills of quantities (BOQ), estimating project costs, and supporting cost planning throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day activities include monitoring budgets, tracking variations, verifying contractor and vendor invoices,
and ensuring accurate cost reporting to project stakeholders. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to optimize resource usage, maintain cost control, and support timely project delivery.
The Quantity
Surveyor will also assist in tender preparation, bidding evaluations, and maintaining up-to-date documentation for audits and management reviews.
Qualifications
- Strong cost control and cost management skills, with the ability to monitor budgets and manage financial risks.
- Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, measurement, and verification for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in cost planning and forecasting, including lifecycle costing and value engineering.
- Experience in cost reporting, including preparation of periodic financial statements, variance reports, and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, tendering processes, and relevant standards and regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, with strong collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or cost management software; exposure to large-scale real estate projects is an advantage.
