Role Description The Quality Inspector I is a full-time, on-site role based in Kakinada. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include verifying measurements, documenting inspection results, identifying nonconformities, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues.
The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining inspection records, and adhering to safety and company policies.
The Quality
Inspector I works closely with supervisors and engineering staff to help maintain consistent product quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Inspection to assess materials, components, and finished products.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support adherence to standards and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or industrial processes, preferably within the energy or oil and gas sector.
- Ability to work safely in an in office environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, quality, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection tools (e.g., gauges, calipers) is an advantage.
