Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Head with 10–15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to lead the complete Quality function. The candidate will be responsible for establishing quality systems, controlling product and process quality, reducing rejection and rework, handling customer complaints, managing audits, and leading the Quality team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete QA/QC Department.
- Develop and implement quality standards, systems, procedures and inspection processes.
- Control Incoming, In-Process and Final Product Quality.
- Set quality objectives, KPIs and departmental targets.
- Monitor rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaint trends.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective CAPA.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, Quality Control Plans, Inspection Standards and Check Sheets.
- Lead internal, customer and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable quality requirements.
- Monitor supplier/vendor quality and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring and testing equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement and process-quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, Maintenance and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Train,



guide and develop Quality Managers, Engineers and Inspectors.
- Prepare and review Daily, Weekly and Monthly Quality MIS and management reports.
- Analyse quality data and present improvement plans to senior management.
- Establish preventive controls to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records.
- Take ownership of overall plant quality performance.

Required Skills

- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of 7 QC Tools, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis and CAPA.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Experience in handling customer and external audits.
- Strong knowledge of inspection and quality-control processes.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication, reporting and decision-making skills.
- Experience in plastic/manufacturing products will be preferred.

Qualification Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have strong manufacturing-quality experience and the ability to independently manage the Quality Department, lead a quality team, improve processes, reduce rejection/rework and maintain consistent product quality.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
