Quality Inspection

- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and finished products.

- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments.

- Verify parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

1. Quality Control

- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.

- Identify defects, deviations, and nonconformities.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.

1. Documentation

- Prepare inspection reports, quality checklists, and control plans.

- Maintain inspection and calibration records.

- Prepare nonconformance reports (NCR).

- Support preparation of PPAP, FAI, and other customer quality documents, when required.

1. Customer Quality

- Handle customer complaints and quality-related issues.

- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve defects.

- Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, and other methods.

- Submit corrective action reports to customers.

1. Quality Standards and Audits

- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.

- Support internal, external, and customer audits.

- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Ensure proper calibration of measuring instruments.

1. Process Improvement





- Identify opportunities to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

- Work with production teams to reduce defects and improve efficiency.

- Monitor quality performance indicators.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

- Knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, or additive manufacturing, as applicable.

- Root cause analysis and problem-solving.

- Quality documentation and reporting.

- Knowledge of ISO quality standards.

- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities in a Prototype Manufacturing Company For VIMA3YA, a Quality Engineer may be responsible for:

- Inspecting CNC machined, 3D printed, and injection-molded prototype parts.

- Checking dimensions, surface finish, material specifications, and assembly fitment.

- Verifying parts against customer drawings and 3D CAD models.

- Preparing inspection reports and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.

- Coordinating with engineering and production teams to resolve defects.

- Ensuring quality before dispatch to customers.
