Role Description This is a full-time, in office Quality Engineer role based in Hubli-Dharwad.

The Quality

Engineer will oversee product and process quality on the shop floor, including inspection, testing, and verification of components and assemblies against defined standards.

Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring quality control plans, supporting root cause analysis for nonconformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production and engineering teams.



The role involves maintaining quality documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, safety, and sustainability.

The Quality

Engineer will also liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related issues to ensure consistent compliance with company and industry requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, with the ability to design and improve quality processes and systems.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement using standard tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices to develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Proven ability to manage Product Quality, addressing defects, deviations, and customer feedback to enhance reliability and performance.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, preferably metalworking, automotive, machine tools, or industrial automation systems.
- Understanding of ISO or similar quality management systems; exposure to audits and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and in office settings
