Key Responsibilities - Inspect incoming fabrics, trims, and raw materials for quality issues.
- Conduct fabric inspection for defects, shade variation, GSM, width, construction, and appearance.
- Monitor quality at different stages of textile and garment production.
- Identify and classify fabric and garment defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct inline, end-line, and final inspections as required.
- Check measurements, stitching, finishing, appearance, and workmanship.
- Monitor production processes to minimize defects, rejection, and rework.
- Coordinate with Production, Cutting, Stitching, Finishing, and Merchandising teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, defect records, and quality documentation.
- Follow customer specifications, approved samples, quality standards, and AQL requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring quality problems and follow up on corrective actions.
- Guide checking/QC teams regarding quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Ensure finished goods are properly inspected before packing and dispatch.
- Support internal and customer quality audits when required.
Required Skills &
Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience in Textile / Garment Quality Control.
- Valuable knowledge of fabric and garment defects.
- Knowledge of AQL inspection and quality procedures.
- Good understanding of fabric construction, GSM, shrinkage, shade, measurements, and workmanship.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and team-coordination abilities.
- Ability to prepare and maintain quality reports.
- Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology or related field is preferred.
