1. Job Purpose To ensure the quality and conformity of incoming materials through inspection, testing, documentation, traceability, non-conformance management, supplier coordination, and timely release of approved materials to production.
To ensure the post-production inspection and quality clearance of finished and semi-finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards before moving to the next process, storage, or dispatch.

5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow company quality and safety procedures.
- Follow applicable ISO/IATF requirements, wherever relevant.
- Use appropriate PPE during inspection and testing.
- Follow chemical and hazardous-material handling procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability.
- Escalate critical quality and safety issues immediately.
6. Authority & Accountability
- Responsible for accurate inspection and testing of incoming materials.
- Responsible for maintaining inspection, testing, and traceability records.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting non-conforming materials/products.
- Responsible for proper segregation of rejected and quarantine materials/products.
- Ensure only approved materials are released to Production.
- Ensure only conforming and quality-cleared products are released to the next process, warehouse, or dispatch.
- Support supplier corrective actions and quality improvement activities.
- Escalate critical quality issues to the Quality Manager.
7. Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials, Metallurgy, or related engineering field.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control / IQC / Supplier Quality / Production Quality.
- Must have hands-on work experience in Battery / EV Manufacturing industries.
- Experience in battery cell, battery pack, energy storage system (ESS), lithium-ion battery, or EV component manufacturing will be preferred.
- Should have experience in incoming material inspection, testing, non-conformance handling, supplier quality, and/or production quality.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of incoming and production quality inspection.
- Knowledge of battery/EV manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of sampling and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, RCA, NCR, CAPA, and 8D.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
