About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD, and FinTech/Payments to lead quality engineering initiatives for a technology-driven financial product.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead QA strategy, planning, execution, and delivery across product releases.
- Design and maintain robust automation frameworks for web/API applications.
- Develop and execute API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Review automation code and establish QA coding and testing standards.
- Drive regression, functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation, and release quality.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers and contribute to building a strong quality culture.
- Ensure testing processes align with FinTech/Payments product requirements.

Required Skills :

- 7 - 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation.
- Strong experience in API Testing and REST APIs.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps,



or similar.
- Strong programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Robust understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Good knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, test methodologies, and defect management.

Mandatory Domain Experience :

- FinTech / Payments experience is mandatory.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience testing financial products, payment platforms, transaction processing, banking/financial workflows, payment gateways, wallets, cards, or related systems.

Preferred :

- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of performance/load testing.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Experience leading or mentoring QA teams.
- Exposure to security testing and financial-data compliance practices.
