Teq Mavens Pvt. Ltd. is an IT service-based company delivering high-quality software solutions to global clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and basic automation experience to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automation testing (functional, regression, and exploratory testing) for web applications.
- Analyze requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like Jira.
- Execute test cases and ensure application quality before release.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support automation testing (approx. 20%) by creating or maintaining automated test scripts.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation to improve regression coverage.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and QA sign-off processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- Robust knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test case design.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar).
- Basic experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile development processes.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience working with web-based applications.
