Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QAD Functional Analyst with extensive expertise in QAD Financial modules. The incumbent will be responsible for managing QAD Finance-related implementation, enhancement, configuration and support activities independently across global business locations. The role requires strong functional ownership, close engagement with business stakeholders, and end-to-end management of implementation and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage QAD ERP Financial modules including functional configuration, business process mapping and system enhancements.
- Lead and independently manage QAD Finance implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and stabilization.
- Provide L2/L3 functional support for QAD Finance modules and resolve business-critical issues.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into effective QAD functional solutions.
- Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing and UAT support.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/development teams for customizations and integrations.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle including blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration support, training, UAT, cutover and post-go-live support.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend ERP solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, Operations and other business functions.
- Manage incidents, problems and change requests related to QAD Finance.
- Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, user manuals and training materials.




- Coordinate with global stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of functional issues.
- Take single-handed ownership of QAD Finance functional activities across implementation and support engagements.
- Participate in global projects, workshops and stakeholder meetings across different geographies.
- Be open to international/domestic travel as required for global implementation and support activities.

Required Functional Expertise

- Extensive hands-on experience in QAD ERP Financial modules.
- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting business processes.
- Experience in QAD Finance implementation, configuration and production support.
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Bank/Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Tax-related processes.
- Good understanding of period/year-end closing processes.
- Understanding of integration between QAD Finance and other QAD modules such as Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and Supply Chain.
- Ability to independently analyse business requirements and provide functional solutions.

Implementation Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on QAD implementation experience is mandatory.
- Experience managing end-to-end QAD implementation activities.
- Exposure to multiple QAD implementation/rollout projects will be preferred.
- Experience in global/multi-location QAD implementations is highly desirable.

Support Experience

- Robust experience in handling production support and issue resolution.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot functional issues and identify root causes.
- Experience in incident, problem and change management.
- Comfortable working in a global support environment with stakeholders across different time zones.
