We are seeking a QA Engineer to drive software testing, automation, and quality assurance processes. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability and compliance while focusing on continuous improvements and efficiency. During periods of lower testing demand, the QA Engineer will proactively explore and implement current test features and enhancements to improve HeRo3 platform.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering

- Debug and fix code in shared Javascript/Typescript React and Angular front end components
- Iterate and improve upon HeRo3 backend platform via Typescript, NodeJS development

Software Testing & Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for system reliability and compliance.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and security.
- Perform bug tracking and debugging, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Design and implement automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Maintain and optimize test environments and scripts for efficiency.
- Enhance test coverage and automation frameworks during downtime, proactively working on new features and improvements.





Data Integrity & Compliance Testing:
- Conduct data validation tests to verify accuracy across systems.

Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with IT operations and security teams to improve testing processes.
- Maintain QA documentation, reports, and defect tracking logs.

Required Skills and Experience

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Expertise

- Strong skillset in both React and Angular front end
- Strong development skillset for Typescript/NodeJS platforms for both front end and back end
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions).

Professional Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or a related field.
- Ability to proactively improve and expand QA automation frameworks during downtime.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot defects and improve software quality.
