Role Summary

Develop and maintain a Python backend focused on image processing pipelines, REST API development, and batch data processing. You will build performant services that handle image analysis, file management, and reporting.

Responsibilities · Develop and maintain image processing pipelines using Pillow, NumPy, and OpenCV — cropping, color analysis, edge detection, segmentation · Build RESTful APIs (Flask or Django REST Framework) — file upload, processing triggers, report retrieval, batch operations · Implement and optimize image analysis algorithms (pixel-level color detection, thresholding, region-based analysis) · Parse and process structured data files — extract and transform domain-specific data formats · Design and maintain data models for processing results, batch reports, and historical data · Implement batch processing workflows — handle multiple file uploads, parallel processing, progress tracking, report generation · Manage file storage — uploaded images, processed outputs, generated reports (JSON) · Write unit and integration tests for image processing logic and API endpoints · Optimize processing performance for high-resolution images (BMP,



TIFF, PNG up to 16MB) Required Skills · 3+ years skilled Python development · Strong experience with Flask or Django (REST API development, file handling, request validation) · Image processing experience with Pillow (PIL) and NumPy — pixel manipulation, array operations, color space analysis · Experience with OpenCV (cv2) — edge detection, contour finding, image transformation · Understanding of coordinate systems, image grids, and pixel-level operations · REST API design — proper status codes, error handling, file upload endpoints, JSON responses · File I/O and batch processing — handling large binary files, directory structures, concurrent operations · Unit testing (pytest) and debugging image processing code · Git version control Nice to Have · Experience with task queues (Celery, RQ) for background processing · Database experience (PostgreSQL, SQLite) for storing metadata and reports · Familiarity with Docker for deployment · Understanding of color theory and image analysis beyond basic thresholding · Experience in manufacturing or industrial domains

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
