We are seeking a seasoned Python Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation and Python-based automated test development. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in QA or test automation, proficiency in Python programming, and experience with industry-standard automation frameworks. A solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols and Linux environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automated test scripts.
- Implement test automation solutions using frameworks such as Pytest, Robot, or Behave.
- Conduct Layer 2/Layer 3 protocol testing to ensure robust and reliable performance.
- Work with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent for simulation and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reports.




- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of experience in QA or test automation.
- Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot, or Behave.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Educational Requirements
