Role & Responsibilities: Resource Assessment & Energy Estimation and Solar DC Design Solar Ground mounted

Experience required: 7-10 years

- Performing enormous permutation and combination for PV Plant simulations w.r.t module technology, structure selection, optimum tilting, optimum pitch, inverter selection, different DC/AC ratio etc.
- Formulating internal PR calculation methodology and evaluate external PR calculation method of various lenders engineers, investor engineers and independent advisors of investors.
- Solar Resource Assessment from different database and its application in prospecting, forecasting and feasibility analysis.
- Evaluate plant performance in between actual and expected generation numbers considering solar resource; as-built calculated losses; site measured losses; temperature adjustments and other losses assumptions.
- Analysis of different solar resource dataset like SolarGIS, Meteonorm, Nasa etc.
- Due diligence for Lenders, Investors and Bankers.
- Setting up target generation numbers and target losses for O&M; for revenue budget.
- Shadow analysis using Sketch up software.




- In depth knowledge of PVSYST software must.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft excel in data handling and management

- Detail engineering and design of Ground mounted project

- Should have a good knowledge of preparing the drawings of DC cable routing, String formation, Cable trenches etc.

- Should have a positive knowledge of reviewing Cable GTP, SCB GTP, Connector GTP and other relevant specifications and GTP.

- Understanding the requirement of the client/customer

- Estimation of detailed BOQ during bidding stage.

- Knowledge of IS & specifications needed for the designing and execution of solar projects.

- Should have an idea of costing for electrical items like Cables, SCB, Cable trenches, etc.

- Site visit and preparation of project proposal.

Desirable

- solar energy estimation prediction.

· Knowledge of Wind-Solar—Battery hybrid systems.

· Software – Sketchup, pvsyst
