As a Purchase Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping procurement and sourcing strategies. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from strategic sourcing to purchase-to-pay (P2P) operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of operational buying, negotiation expertise, and a focus on optimizing logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier performance.
- Procurement Strategy: Create and implement procurement strategies that promote cost reduction, supply chain efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Operations: Oversee and optimize the entire P2P process, including purchase requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to understand their procurement needs, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
- Leadership: Lead a team of procurement professionals, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Operational Buying: Manage day-to-day operational buying activities, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services in accordance with company standards.

Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and quality assurance.
- Logistics Optimization: Work on optimizing logistics and supply chain processes, reducing lead times, and ensuring on-time delivery while minimizing costs.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers, assessing performance and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing, with a minimum of 15 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of P2P operations and procurement best practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost savings.
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement and supply chain software tools.

Expected experience range is between 15 to 20 years.
