We are looking to fill two open positions for Prompt Engineer. While Chennai is the preferred location, candidates from Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, or any city where Wipro has an office are welcome to apply. Work mode will be hybrid or fully in-office, depending on project requirements.

Senior Prompt Engineer

Experience: 7+ years total, with 1–2 years in prompt engineering

Must have client-facing experience

Any tech stack experience is fine, as long as core prompt engineering skills are present.

Junior Prompt Engineer

Experience: 4+ years total, with 1 year in prompt engineering

Client-facing experience is a plus

Role: Prompt Engineer

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Prompt Strategy & Design:

Craft, test, and optimize prompts for diverse sales tasks (e-mail outreach, personalized pitch generation, call-script creation, qualification questionnaires).

Develop prompt templates and guardrails for consistency, brand voice, and compliance.

Iterative Experimentation & Evaluation:

Run A/B tests on prompt variants, analyze performance metrics (conversion rates, response quality,



time-to-close) and iterate for continuous improvement.

Benchmark across multiple LLM providers and model versions.

Integration & Automation:

Collaborate with engineers to embed LLM-driven workflows into our Salesforce (or equivalent) CRM via APIs and serverless functions.

Build end-to-end automation pipelines—triggering prompts based on sales events, parsing outputs, and routing insights back into dashboards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Enablement:

Partner with Sales Ops, Data Science, and Product teams to translate business requirements into prompt-driven solutions.

Conduct workshops and create documentation to empower non-technical teams (account managers, campaign planners) to leverage prompt tools autonomously.

Governance & Quality Assurance:

Establish monitoring for hallucinations, bias, or compliance issues in generated content.

Implement prompt versioning, change-management processes, and audit trails.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in Python

Prior experience in media, broadcasting or AdTech environments.
