About the Role

We are hiring Project Sales Managers for a leading building materials company to drive Project Sales and Government Sales across assigned product categories.

The role involves developing business through builders, developers, contractors, architects, consultants, government departments and institutional clients, with a strong focus on project conversion, specifications and tender opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive Project Sales and Government Sales for the assigned product category and territory.
- Identify and develop new project opportunities, government tenders and institutional business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, builders, developers, contractors, architects, consultants and project decision-makers.
- Generate and maintain a strong project pipeline through regular market mapping and prospecting.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, project identification, product presentation, specification, quotation, negotiation and order closure.
- Work closely with architects, consultants and project stakeholders to ensure product specification and approval.
- Monitor ongoing and upcoming projects and ensure timely follow-ups for business conversion.
- Track government tenders, competitor activities, pricing, market developments and project opportunities.




- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives through effective project development and conversion.
- Maintain accurate records of projects, tenders, prospects, sales pipeline and customer interactions.
- Submit regular sales, project pipeline and performance reports to management.

Candidate Profile
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Project Sales / Government Sales / Institutional Sales.
- Experience in building materials, pipes, roofing, construction products, infrastructure or related industries will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Guwahati/Assam market and project ecosystem.
- Experience dealing with government departments, contractors, consultants, architects, builders and institutional clients.
- Good understanding of project sales cycles, tender business and specification-driven sales.
- Strong business development, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to develop new accounts and convert project opportunities into orders.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.

What We Are Looking For A result-oriented sales professional who can independently develop the market, build strong project-level relationships and drive business from prospect identification through order closure.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
