Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Wind Farm Project Execution from project initiation/site mobilization through erection, commissioning and final handover.

- Plan and manage project schedule, manpower, contractors, materials, equipment and site resources.

- Lead and coordinate WTG erection, civil, mechanical and electrical works at site.

- Oversee electrical execution, including HT/LT systems, cable laying/termination, substation, switchyard, transformer, protection, earthing and SCADA.

- Coordinate grid connectivity, testing, synchronization and power evacuation activities.

- Coordinate with Engineering, SCM/Purchase, Quality, HSE, contractors, vendors and customers for timely project execution.

- Monitor project progress, cost, quality, safety and contractual milestones.

- Identify site issues and project risks and ensure timely resolution/escalation.

- Manage contractors and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.

- Ensure completion of testing, commissioning, punch points, documentation and final project handover.

- Prepare regular project MIS and provide updates to senior management.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- 10-20 years of experience in Wind Energy / Wind Farm Project Execution.

- Must have handled end-to-end wind farm projects from site/project start through commissioning and handover.

- Strong exposure to WTG erection, electrical, civil and mechanical project execution.

- Electrical project experience is preferred, with good understanding of HT/LT, 33/66 kV systems, substation, switchyard, cables, transformer, protection, SCADA and grid connectivity.

- Experience in managing multiple contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary site teams.

- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, commissioning and handover.

- Experience in wind EPC / BoP / renewable energy projects preferred.

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.

- Robust coordination, problem-solving and project-management skills.

- Wind Energy experience is mandatory.

- Willing to be based at Kandla Port, Gujarat and travel to wind project sites as required.
