As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing application development & support teams including software developers, leads, automation engineers, business analysts, and architects across offshore, onshore and nearshore locations. You will ensure high-performing teams by focusing on people management, technical guidance, and productive execution of projects.

Your role will balance project delivery with team growth, motivation, and capability building to meet business and technology objectives

Role & responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including software developers, team leads, and automation staff to ensure productivity and performance.
- Manage offshore, onshore and nearshore resources, ensuring seamless collaboration across distributed teams and time zones.
- Oversee day-to-day execution of development and automation activities while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Support technical leads in resource allocation, workload balancing, and resolving bottlenecks to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders (business, QA, architecture, and leadership teams) to align team efforts with strategic goals.
- Drive adoption of best practices in coding, automation, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance.
- Facilitate regular stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensure adherence to Agile/DevOps practices.




- Track and report progress on project and team performance metrics (velocity, quality, automation coverage, etc.).
- Proactively identify risks and issues related to people, processes, or delivery and implement corrective actions.
- Enable career development, training, and upskilling opportunities for team members across locations.
- Foster effective communication channels between onshore and nearshore teams to minimize gaps and ensure alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proven expertise in managing cross-functional software teams across offshore, onshore and nearshore locations with a strong balance of people management, project governance, and technical understanding.
- Proven expertise in managing the entire software life cycle for enterprise applications Estimation, Planning, Agile Delivery, Quality Management, and Deployment.
- Proven ability to function in an environment that requires flexibility, good judgment and sound decision-making, often based on limited information and/or under extreme conditions
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to balance delivery outcomes with team well-being and growth.
- Ability to foster collaboration between development, QA, DevOps, and business teams across geographies.
- Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
- Certifications such as Scrum Master, PMP, or SAFe Agilist preferred.
