Key ResponsibilitiesA. Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and other academic activities.
- Design and update course content, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses as assigned.
- Develop innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- Evaluate students through assignments, examinations, projects, presentations, and other assessment methods.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Guide students in academic and professional development.

B. Research & Innovation
- Conduct high-quality research in Computer Science and related areas.
- Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals/conferences.
- Develop and submit research proposals to government agencies, industries, and other funding organizations.
- Supervise Ph.D. scholars and research students.
- Establish and lead research groups, laboratories, centres, or specialized research initiatives.
- Promote patents, copyrights, software products, consultancy, and technology transfer.
- Collaborate with national and international universities, research institutions, and industry.

C. Academic Leadership
- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the Department.
- Participate in curriculum development, revision, and academic planning.
- Coordinate and monitor departmental academic activities.
- Mentor faculty members and support their professional development.
- Contribute to accreditation, ranking, academic audits, and quality-assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable University, UGC, AICTE, and other regulatory requirements, wherever applicable.

D. Student Development
- Mentor and guide students regarding academics, research, higher studies, and career opportunities.
- Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, technical events, conferences, and innovation activities.
- Support placement, internship,



entrepreneurship, and industry-interaction initiatives.
- Promote discipline, professionalism, ethical conduct, and employability skills among students.

E. Institutional & Administrative Responsibilities
- Serve on departmental, faculty, and university-level committees as assigned.
- Participate in Board of Studies, Academic Council, examination, research, and other statutory/non-statutory committees as applicable.
- Assist in preparation of departmental budgets, academic plans, and development proposals.
- Maintain academic records and documentation as required.
- Contribute to institutional strategic planning and development.
- Undertake any other academic or administrative responsibility assigned by the competent authority.

1. Industry & Professional Engagement

- Develop collaborations with IT companies, technology organizations, startups, and skilled bodies.
- Facilitate industry-sponsored projects, consultancy, internships, and training programs.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, FDPs, and technical events.
- Maintain active professional engagement with relevant academic and industry networks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Master's and Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with consistently good academic performance.
- Relevant teaching/research/industry experience as per applicable University/UGC/AICTE norms.
- Demonstrated research record through publications, research projects, Ph.D. supervision, patents, consultancy, or other recognized academic contributions, as applicable.
- Strong communication, leadership, research, and academic management skills.

1. General Responsibility

The Professor shall perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department, Dean, Registrar, Vice-Chancellor, or other competent authority from time to time in the academic and institutional interest of the University. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
