- Experience: 2–3 Years (ONTAP Administration, Troubleshooting & Debugging)
- We are seeking a skilled Storage Administrator with hands-on experience in ONTAP administration, troubleshooting, performance management, upgrades, and enterprise storage technologies.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in storage operations, backup integration, disaster recovery, infrastructure technologies, and customer-facin g support within a managed services environment.

Shift Requirement: 24x7x365 Support Workplace

- 2 weekly off days which may fall during weekdays or a combination of weekday and weekend.

Essential Job Functions:

- Deploy, administer, and support enterprise storage environments based on ONTAP / CDOT platforms.
- Troubleshoot storage performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Perform firmware upgrades, operating system upgrades, and storage maintenance activities.
- Manage and utilize storage management tools including OnCommand Unified Manager, OnCommand Performance Manager, and Insight.
- Support backup integration using enterprise storage technologies.
- Administer and support storage provisioning, capacity management, and performance optimization.
- Monitor storage infrastructure health, availability, utilization, and performance.
- Implement and manage Snapshots, SnapMirror, Cloning, Deduplication, Controller Failover, IntelliSnap, and related storage technologies.
- Perform storage replication management and disaster recovery activities.
- Support security hardening initiatives and storage compliance requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to storage protocols and connectivity.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, DR testing, and recovery validation activities.




- Work closely with infrastructure, virtualization, compute, backup, and network teams for issue resolution and project implementation.
- Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management processes.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Provide technical support in a 24x7 operational environment.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills

- 2–3 years of ONTAP administration, troubleshooting, and debugging experience.
- Experience deploying and administering CDOT/ONTAP Storage environments.
- Storage Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
- Firmware and Operating System Upgrade Management.

- VMware vSphere Administration knowledge.
- Microsoft Operating Systems knowledge.
- Linux System Administration experience.

ITSM & Process Knowledge
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies.
- Incident Management.
- Problem Management.
- Change Management.
- Configuration Management.
- Understanding of Managed Services and Outsourcing environments.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred.

Additional Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of SAN, WAN, Backup, and Disaster Recovery platforms.
- Experience with DR solutions,



DR testing, Snap-based backups, and Clone technologies.
- Monitoring platforms and infrastructure health management.
