Role & Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Ensure achievement of production targets with respect to quantity, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and improve production KPIs such as OEE, downtime, rejection rate, cycle time, and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify process bottlenecks and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for sustainable improvements.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution of production and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure machine availability.
- Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and processes.




- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and MIS.
- Train and guide operators and line leaders on process, quality, and safety requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.
- Experience in Lighting, LED, Electrical Equipment, Consumer Electricals, Electronics Manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Robust knowledge of Production Planning, Process Optimization, OEE, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Experience in shop-floor management and assembly/manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on exposure to Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement projects.
- Good understanding of quality systems, productivity improvement, and safety compliance.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
