About BiocharAg

BiocharAg is Equilibriums biochar-based agricultural input initiative, focused on developing and commercializing scientifically formulated biochar products that improve soil health, nutrient-use efficiency, and agricultural productivity.

As BiocharAg scales, robust digital systems are essential to track product movement, field applications, operational processes, and outcomes. This role will help build and manage those systems while ensuring that the technology remains closely aligned with on-ground requirements.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate Product Operations to manage and continuously improve BiocharAgs digital MRV (dMRV) product, working closely with the technology, operations, R&D;, and commercial teams.

The role will involve understanding how BiocharAg operates on the ground, translating operational requirements into product improvements, monitoring data quality, and generating actionable insights through data analytics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across teams, understanding workflows, identifying gaps, and helping build technology that is reliable, scalable, and practical for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the dMRV platform: Manage day-to-day functioning, adoption, data quality, and issue resolution across BiocharAg operations.
- Drive product improvements: Work with operations to understand workflows and pain points, and collaborate with the tech team to translate these into product enhancements.
- Enable data-driven decisions: Analyse dMRV data, build dashboards and reports, identify trends and anomalies,



and generate actionable operational insights.
- Strengthen processes: Document workflows, improve data-collection processes, and help build scalable systems for traceability, reporting, and future MRV requirements.
- Coordinate across teams: Act as the link between technology, operations, R&D;, and commercial teams to ensure the product evolves with business needs.

Who We’re Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in product operations, business operations, data analytics, implementation, or a similar role. Exceptional freshers with relevant project experience are welcome.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details.
- Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or similar tools is a plus.
- Able to understand how a process works on the ground and translate that understanding into better technology.
- Strong ownership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in an evolving, early-stage environment where you may need to figure things out, build processes, and solve problems hands-on.

Good to Have

- Experience with dMRV, traceability, supply-chain platforms, agri-tech, climate-tech, or field-data systems.
- Familiarity with product development workflows, APIs, databases.
- Exposure to MRV, carbon projects, agricultural operations, or biochar.
