Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of a core product within the Descrial Platform, a multi-tenant work execution system purpose-built for Private Equity workflows spanning Fund Origination to Exit. This role is focused on building a scalable, configurable, and AI-enabled platform that orchestrates complex workstreams, standardizes execution, and drives transparency across PE operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Communicate product vision, roadmap, and delivery progress effectively to cross functional stakeholders including leadership, engineering, and service delivery teams





Translate customer needs and Private Equity workflows into clear, structured product requirements, including PRDs, user stories, workflows, mockups, and acceptance criteria

Define and manage epics, user stories, and backlog with strong attention to clarity, completeness, and execution readiness

Prioritize product roadmap and features based on business impact, customer value, and platform scalability considerations

Collaborate with senior product leadership to drive design decisions that balance configurability, usability, and multi-tenant architecture needs

Work closely with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments to develop, test, and release high-quality features

Contribute to building scalable platform capabilities for workflow orchestration, task management, and lifecycle automation (avoiding one-off solutions)

Support development of AI/LLM-enabled features such as research assistance, summarization, and workflow augmentation

Partner with customers and service delivery teams to validate solutions through user testing and ensure solid adoption post-launch

Drive feature adoption and usage by identifying friction points and enabling smooth onboarding and user experience

Define and track product and execution KPIs (e.g., cycle time, throughput, SLA adherence, quality metrics)

Use data and feedback to continuously improve workflows, automation capabilities, and user experience

Prerequisites

Excellent spoken and written communication, receptive listening skills, and ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audience

Strong understanding of product development lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog management and sprint execution

Proven ability to translate complex business workflows into structured product requirements and system designs

Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations/service teams)

Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and tracking product and operational KPIs

Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience building products with a focus on configurability, workflow automation, or process orchestration platforms

Experience

3–5 years of Product Management experience building and delivering enterprise SaaS platforms or workflow-driven products

Experience working on web-based platforms (React/Angular) with backend systems (Java/Node.js) in a scalable, multi-tenant environment

Education

Engineering or Management degree from a premier Institute (IIT and/or IIM preferred)
