About the Role

HotelKey India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Localization Business Analyst QA Intern to join our Localization team.

The intern will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to support the analysis and testing of HotelKeys hotel management platform for different countries and regions.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in Business Analysis, Software Testing, Product Management, and international software localization to gain hands-on experience working on a real-world hospitality technology platform.

Key Responsibilities Testing QA

- Execute functional and regression test cases.
- Test localization-related features and configurations in the PMS.
- Validate country-specific functionality such as:
- Tax calculations
- Invoices and credit notes
- Fiscal receipts
- Currency and rounding
- Date and number formats
- Accounting and financial reports
- Language and translations
- Country-specific configurations

- Perform end-to-end testing of business scenarios.
- Verify fixes provided by the development team.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Assist with UAT and pre-/post-release validation.

Defect Management
- Identify and document software defects in Jira.
- Provide clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting screenshots/logs.
- Work with QA and Development teams to understand and troubleshoot issues.
- Retest defects after fixes are deployed.
- Maintain proper tracking of assigned defects and testing activities.

Data Technical Validation
- Learn and use basic SQL queries to validate application data.
- Perform basic API validation using tools such as Postman.




- Understand and validate JSON and XML requests/responses.
- Assist in validating reports, configurations, data mappings, and system integrations.
- Analyze application behavior and help identify the possible cause of issues.

Documentation Team Support
- Maintain test cases and testing documentation.
- Document country-specific requirements and test scenarios.
- Assist in preparing testing status and release validation updates.
- Support the team during new country/property implementations and go-lives.
- Follow established QA and BA processes and contribute ideas for improving them.

Business Analysis Support
- Review existing functionality and identify gaps based on business requirements.
- Assist in preparing process flows and documenting business scenarios.
- Work with senior team members to clarify requirements with Product, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.

Skills Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Strong interest in Software Testing, Business Analysis, or Product Management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of basic software development concepts.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business domains.




- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Basic understanding of API testing / Postman.
- Familiarity with JSON or XML.
- Basic understanding of Jira.
- Exposure to software testing concepts such as test cases, regression testing, functional testing, and defect management.
- Interest in hospitality, hotel management systems, or SaaS products.
