ABOUT US

We are a 35 year old Varanasi steel and building material group - a retail showroom in Varanasi, a two stop store at Bachhaon, a yard at Chunar, and TMT distribution across eastern UP. We are now launching our own manufactured product lines, and this role designs how those products look on the shelf, at the counter and at the site.

PACKAGING DESIGN - THE CORE OF THIS ROLE

- Bundle wraps, end tags and identification marking for TMT bars and steel sections.
- Cartons, labels, pouches and drum labels for binding wire, nails, tape, shuttering oil, tile adhesive, wall putty, primer and paints.
- Work from dieline to final press ready artwork - correct bleed, crop marks, colour separation and spot colours.
- Keep every product in a range looking like one family, so a customer recognises it across the shelf.
- Coordinate directly with printing presses and packaging converters and fix the file when they raise a problem.

BRAND AND IDENTITY
- Logo systems, colour palettes, typography rules and how the brand is applied everywhere.
- Mascot and character artwork, and illustration where the product needs it.
- Build and maintain a simple brand guideline document that other people can follow.

PRINT AND MARKETING COLLATERAL
- Product catalogues, rate lists and dealer price boards.
- Brochures, pamphlets,



visiting cards, letterheads, banners, hoardings and site boards.
- Store signage artwork - frontage boards and category panels, in English and Hindi.

DIGITAL
- Product mockups and 3D style visuals of packaging before it goes to print.
- Creatives for Instagram, WhatsApp dealer broadcasts and the website.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 1 to 5 years in graphic design, packaging design or a printing press or DTP setup. Freshers with a solid portfolio will be considered.
- CorelDRAW is essential. Photoshop and Illustrator are expected. InDesign is a plus.
- You must have sent real artwork to a real press. Screen-only designers will struggle here.
- Understanding of CMYK, spot colour, bleed, die lines and paper and board sizes.
- Based in Varanasi and able to reach the office daily.
- A portfolio is compulsory. Applications without work samples will not be considered.

WHAT WE OFFER
