About the Role We are looking for an experienced Process Modeller with strong expertise in P&ID; drafting and process engineering documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the chemical process industry and possess excellent knowledge of process flow documentation, drafting standards, and engineering design tools.

The role involves preparing, modifying, and maintaining Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs), and Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Process Drafting & Modelling

- Develop and update P&IDs;, PFDs, UFDs, and BFDs based on project requirements.
- Prepare conceptual layouts from engineering sketches, process flow diagrams, and design inputs.
- Create and revise vendor P&IDs;, incorporating engineering comments and as-built markups.
- Support engineering teams in maintaining accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all drafting deliverables.

Standards & Compliance

- Adhere to industry standards such as PIP, ISO, and DIN.
- Apply proper legends, symbols, and drafting conventions in all drawings.
- Conduct quality checks to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance.




- Validate engineering data and drawing information before project submission.

Coordination & Project Support

- Collaborate closely with Process Engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Extract and verify reports from engineering databases.
- Communicate technical concerns proactively and support timely issue resolution.
- Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting project timelines and quality standards.

Required Software Experience Mandatory Hands-on Experience:

- AutoCAD P&ID;
- AutoCAD SmartPlant P&ID;

Preferred:

- AVEVA P&ID;

Required Skills
- Solid expertise in P&ID; drafting and modification.
- Knowledge of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), UFDs, and BFDs.
- Understanding of chemical process engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with engineering drafting standards and quality procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering markups, sketches, and process documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Educational Qualification
- ITI Draftsman (Mechanical/Chemical) - Mandatory
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering - Preferred

Experience Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Chemical Process Industries, EPC, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, or related process engineering environments.
- Proven experience in preparing, updating, and reviewing P&IDs; and process-related engineering documents.
