Role & responsibilities

- Own process engineering activities for recent projects from drawing review to production handover.
- Ensure new product designs are manufacturer, cost-effective and capable of meeting quality and production requirements.
- Develop robust manufacturing processes to achieve required capacity, cycle time, productivity and cost targets.
- Prepare and control process costing, ensuring accurate investment and manufacturing cost estimates for new projects.
- Lead fixture and tooling RFQ, technical evaluation, design review and supplier coordination.
- Ensure fixtures and tooling are developed and validated as per quality, cycle-time, safety and production requirements.
- Lead capacity studies and implement actions to close capacity gaps and support future volume requirements.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving and productivity improvement projects through process optimization, automation, cycle-time reduction and manpower optimization.
- Prepare PIRs for fixtures, equipment, automation and process investments, including technical justification, capacity requirement, cost-benefit and expected savings.
- Coordinate PIR review and approval with Project, Finance, Purchase, Engineering and Management teams.
- Lead process trials, validation and run-at-rate activities to ensure production readiness before launch.




- Capacity Management Define the appropriate machine/process based on capacity requirements, maintain the capacity sheet, identify current and future capacity risks, and proactively communicate capacity gaps and required actions to management.
- Ensure successful handover to Production and Tooling teams, including validated process, fixtures, tooling, parameters and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during project launch and drive timely closure of process-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, ergonomic and engineering standards.
- Track and report key project deliverables including cost, capacity, cycle time, investment, savings and launch readiness.

2. Continuous Improvement – Minimum 4 Lean improvement projects per year with agreed savings contribution.
3. Process Data Accuracy – 100% accuracy of BOM, ERP routing and capacity data.
