Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power BI & SQL Developer with robust expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modeling. The candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance dashboards, optimizing data solutions, and working directly with US-based clients.

Strong communication skills and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop interactive, visually appealing, and high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models.
- Design and maintain Star Schema and Snowflake Schema data models.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Perform data validation, profiling, and transformation.
- Configure and manage Power BI Service, Gateways, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Identify and resolve Power BI and SQL performance bottlenecks.
- Work directly with US clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
- Present dashboards and analytical insights to business stakeholders.




- Apply strong UI/UX principles to create professional and user-friendly analytical dashboards.

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of experience in Power BI and SQL development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX.
- Strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Data Modeling Star/Snowflake Schema.
- Hands-on experience with RLS and Power BI Gateway.
- Strong understanding of dashboard UI/UX and visualization best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to independently interact with and manage US-based clients.

Preferred Skills

- Snowflake architecture, SnowSQL, and data loading.
- Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- DBT or similar ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be technically strong in Power BI + SQL, while also being comfortable in a client-facing role. Candidates must be able to independently conduct discussions with US stakeholders, understand business requirements, and convert them into effective Power BI solutions.
