Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright and API Testing to join our team on a 3-month contract.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation testing, API validation, test framework development, and regression testing.

Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve productivity and test automation is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Design and implement scalable and maintainable automation test frameworks.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Validate REST APIs, including request/response validation, status codes, headers, authentication, and data integrity.
- Create and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development and QA teams.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where required.
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation, debugging, code generation, and test-case optimization.

Required Skills





3+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong understanding of API Testing and REST APIs.
- Experience with Postman or equivalent API testing tools.
- Good programming/scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation frameworks and test case design.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and regression testing.
- Experience working with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines.

AI Skills – Preferred

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as:

- Cursor
- Claude Code
- GitHub Copilot
- ChatGPT or similar AI coding assistants The candidate should be comfortable using AI tools for:
- Generating and improving automation scripts
- Creating test cases and test scenarios
- Debugging and troubleshooting automation failures
- Refactoring test code
- Generating API test scripts
- Improving test coverage and productivity

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing web applications.

- Experience with CI/CD automation.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based testing environments is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
