Monthly closing: Ensure books are accurate and month-end closing happens on time.
Plant costing: Track manufacturing costs such as raw materials, utilities, manpower, repairs, consumables, etc.
Cost analysis: Compare Budget vs Actual and explain why costs are higher/lower.
Inventory: Check stock, ageing, slow-moving inventory, physical vs book stock and inventory adjustments.
SAP: Work extensively on SAP FICO, with understanding of SAP MM/inventory integration.
MIS: Prepare dashboards/reports for plant management.
Budgeting & forecasting: Help prepare budgets and rolling forecasts.
Audit: Coordinate with internal/statutory/cost auditors and close audit observations.
Vendor/AP: Handle invoice, GRN, PO, advances, debit/credit notes and reconciliations.
Business partnering: Work with Manufacturing, SCM, Warehouse, Projects and Engineering to identify cost savings.
